Fibery has no print button for entities. To get one on paper or into a PDF, you can print from the browser, export it to Markdown, generate a PDF with Fibery's Attach PDF automation action, or use a document tool.
Which method to use
| You want | Use | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| A quick copy of one entity | Browser print | Layout can come out cropped |
| An entity or document as a file | Export to Markdown | Converts to PDF with another tool |
| A PDF attached to the entity | Fibery's Attach PDF action | You write the template in Markdown or HTML |
| A designed document for every entity | A document tool such as FlexiPage | Visual editor, runs from Fibery rules |
Print from the browser
- Open the entity in Fibery.
- Press Ctrl+P (Windows) or Cmd+P (Mac).
- Pick a printer, or choose Save as PDF.
Check the preview before you print: Fibery users report cropped text and tables when printing this way.
Export an entity or document to Markdown
- Open the entity or document.
- In the menu at the top right, choose Export and pick Markdown.
You get an archive with the Markdown file and its images. To turn it into a PDF, open it in a Markdown editor that exports PDF.
Create a PDF with Fibery's Attach PDF action
Fibery automations can fill a template and attach the result to the entity as a PDF.
- Make sure the database has a Files field. The action only appears when it does.
- Create an automation rule or a button, and add the Attach PDF using template action.
- Write the template in Markdown, or turn on Treat template as HTML page to use HTML and CSS.
- Run it. The PDF is attached to the entity's Files field.
Templates are written by hand, and listing related entities (like an invoice's line items) takes extra work: Fibery users report errors when looping over related entities in these templates.
Design PDFs visually with FlexiPage
FlexiPage gives you a visual editor instead of a hand-written template:
- Connect Fibery in FlexiPage with your workspace URL and API key.
- Pick a database and type @ to insert fields. Relation fields let you use the related database's fields too, like the client's name.
- Turn related entities into tables with the Dynamic Table component, then sort and filter the rows.
- Automate it: choose a Files field for delivery, then paste our script into a Fibery automation rule, for example when an invoice's state changes to Sent.

FAQ
Can I print a Fibery view?
Export the view to CSV and print it from a spreadsheet, or print the page from your browser. See how to export Fibery data.
Can I export several entities into one PDF?
Not directly. Generate the PDF from a parent entity instead, and list the related entities in it, for example a project with all its tasks.
